Harvest and Thanksgiving Day 03/12/2021

It has been a huge privilege and honor to have had in our midst 3 Excellencies who have gladly consented to attend this year’s (2021) Harvest service at St. Paul’s and made it a grand occasion.

FOLLOW OUR ONLINE SERVICES UPDATED IN THE UPCOMING EVENTS PAGE

Our main Holy Communion worship services take place each Friday at 10.30 AM and Sunday at 6.30 PM. There is a Friday School for children and teenagers during the Friday service.

St Paul’s church was honoured by the attendance of  Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, as a representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at our 70th anniversary celebration on Friday the 16th of November. Bishop Michael Lewis, Bishop of Cyprus and the Gulf, delivered a speech in which he praised the Kuwaiti people and their spirit of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

St. Paul’s is a small and friendly Anglican church, tucked away in a discreet corner of Ahmadi.   We serve as a spiritual home to a diverse community of members from the Anglican and Protestant traditions. In addition St Paul’s hosts twenty other congregations from a variety of denominations and languages who use our facilities throughout the week. St Paul’s is part of the Diocese of Cyprus and The Gulf and the world wide Anglican church. This relationship is reflected in our worship.  At the heart of our service is the Eucharist, in which we remember with gratitude the love shown to us by God through the sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ on the cross.  People attending can expect our music to be a blend of both traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs.

St. Paul’s is home to a thriving and vibrant children’s ministry, and also has a Chinese congregation that offers church services and activities in Mandarin.

To be kept updated on events happening in the life of our parish, please feel free to review our Upcoming Events section or to request to be added to our Facebook group.

Thank you for your interest in St. Paul’s.  If you have any questions or comments, please use our Contact Us form and a member of our church leadership will respond.

A BLESSED EASTER TO ALL

Dear friends in Christ

Greetings and warm wishes. I hope that by the grace of God you and your loved ones continue to experience God’s love during this most difficult time. Kindly receive the attached which can serve as a personal prayer resource for this week. A Psalm has been added on each day.

1.      Take one devotion per day and use it as a spiritual resource for your personal reflection.

2.      In your quiet time first read the given Bible passage and allow God to speak to you through it.

3.      Read the passage again a second time and pick up words or phrases that attract you or catch your thoughts or imagination.

4.      Try to find out how the words and phrases are relevant or speak to your situation or context.

5.      Compare your thoughts with the reflection given below for that particular biblical passage.

6.      Examine how this is relevant or useful to you during Lent 2021 and in your Christian life in general.

7.      Conclude by offering your personal prayers to God and finally pray the collect given.

I hope that you will find this resource useful. With prayerful regards. Michael
