Small Groups Once you've decided to make St Paul’s your church, we would love you to join one of our small groups. These meet for Bible study and prayer each week. There are also groups that meet during the day and one has a crèche. If you're new to Christianity and/or you'd like to join a small group, speak to our chaplain Andy Thompson or one of the other people in the contacts page. ______________________ Current Groups1.ROPE (Reading, Offering Prayer Encouragement) - Meets on Thursdays 8:30am usualy at the British Ladies Society Library Study 'Apprenticeship with Jesus' ______________________ 2. Spring Ladies Study: Tuesdays, Jan. 26th to April 6th 2010, 9 - 11.45am STUDY: IT’S TOUGH BEING A WOMAN: The life of Esther, taught by Beth Moore via video Beth looks at the Old Testament story of Esther as a profile in courage that contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner. This is an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. The layers of history are peeled back and Beth shows how contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.
